Do you know YOUR family history?

Shades of the DMV

Our Third

"Shades of the DMV"! November 25, 2017

11 a.m.- 1 p.m.

Every family has a rich history of people, places and things that make each family unique. Some families have been able to capture and keep family history artifacts.

By some estimates, there are over 1.7 trillion paper photos stored in albums, attics, and shoe boxes.  Over time, some have lost valuable items due to household moves, fires, floods or theft. Our mission is to capture as much of your family's history as possible, restore what is damaged, archive and store what remains, and produce tools with it for you to share with your family members.

“Shades of the DMV” events are to promote the capturing of family history through a variety of methods.  These events will provide education on photo and document capture, restoration and preservation. The creation of family reunion books, corporate history books and family history websites will also be discussed.

Our third “Shades of the DMV” will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. One free photo or document will be scanned per person on the day of the event. Additional scans and restoration services will be available. Please bring an unopened memory stick for storage of your images. Images can also be emailed.  Orders for printing will also be taken during the event. Although free, registration is required.
